High Frequency Trading, Goldman Sachs, The DowJones…..

Posted on 08 May 2010 by Ken Adams

I have tried to write in detail whats the back story of the DOW crash and after several attempts i saw no other way but to refer my self to a person who dedicate his blog to this scenarios. I have been following him for a long time and would recommend to any of you to do the same. In the other words I shall leave it to the pro.

In the world that we live in now and every one following the pack, much speculations have been flooding the main stream media and most of it only touch the surface of the issue, but lets not forget that behind most of the problems there is always a winner. A company that has hundreds of computer programmers and the best of them to work on a design of the financial “melt down” . Its not the traders who went into a panic mode when all theis goes down

Imagine you had a stop-loss order in on Accenture for $36. Average investors always put in stop-loss orders to prevent them from suffering a catastrophic loss on a stock. Regular investors, however, do not have computer algorithms that can buy in sell the same stock every millisecond.

An average investor in Accenture literally had his stock stolen from himself today. The stock dropped from from $41.09 to $.04 – triggering your stop-loss order at $.04. After all, the stock didn’t take a normal drop from $41.09 to $38.52 to $36. Instead, it fell off a cliff to…

…Four cents.

One of Goldman Sachs’ algorithm picked up your shares for four pennies in the second that your stop-loss order was triggered. That the stock immediately returned to it’s market value means nothing. You shares are gone.

Goldman wins, you lose. I’ll give you ten-to-one odds that Goldman Sachs made over $100 million today. Want to take the other side of the bet?

Why Liberals Should Defend the Tea Party

Posted on 15 April 2010 by Tony

Anthony Fox No Agenda News

Only a year ago this was the Tea Party:

Dave Johannes: Tea Party protesters just starting

The inaccurate media coverage and the continued bashing of the Tea Parties by the media has only strengthened our commitment to our message and our cause. We are not a bunch of right-wing extremists trying to be disruptive; we are concerned citizens trying to make our voices heard and participate in our political process. We are not protesting any single person or political party; we are protesting the direction and policies of the current Congress and the new administration.

Our issues are:

•Excessive taxes.

•Out-of-control government spending.

•Nationalization of private businesses.

•Redistribution of wealth.

•The TARP bailout plan.

•Loss of individual freedoms.

•Excessive government regulation.

•Socialized medicine.

•Loss of national sovereignty.

Now Raw Story is reporting this:

Oklahoma conservatives, lawmakers plot anti-federal militia

“Have they heard of the Oklahoma City bombing?” said Joseph Thai, a constitutional law professor at the University of Oklahoma. The state observes the 15th anniversary of the anti-government attack on Monday. Such actions could “throw fuel in the fire of radicals,” he said.

Frustrated by recent political setbacks, tea party leaders and some conservative members of the Oklahoma Legislature say they would like to create a new volunteer militia to help defend against what they believe are improper federal infringements on state sovereignty.

Tea party movement leaders say they’ve discussed the idea with several supportive lawmakers and hope to get legislation next year to recognize a new volunteer force. They say the unit would not resemble militia groups that have been raided for allegedly plotting attacks on law enforcement officers.

“Is it scary? It sure is,” said tea party leader Al Gerhart of Oklahoma City, who heads an umbrella group of tea party factions called the Oklahoma Constitutional Alliance. “But when do the states stop rolling over for the federal government?”

Thus far, the discussions have been exploratory. Even the proponents say they don’t know how an armed force would be organized nor how a state-based militia could block federal mandates. Critics also asserted that the force could inflame extremism, and that the National Guard already provides for the state’s military needs.

In one year the Tea Party has made this transformation. All on it’s own? It hardly seems likely. Sure we’re supposed to believe that everyone right of center is completely mad and liable to erupt in gunfire at the slightest provacation. That doesn’t explain the Tea Party stance of a year ago, though. What happened?

Here’s the methods employed by the FBI against the Black Panthers in the ’60′s Cointelpro:

Infiltration: Agents and informers did not merely spy on political activists. Their main purpose was to discredit and disrupt. Their very presence served to undermine trust and scare off potential supporters. The FBI and police exploited this fear to smear genuine activists as agents.

Extralegal Force and Violence: The FBI conspired with local police departments to threaten dissidents; to conduct illegal break-ins in order to search dissident homes; and to commit vandalism, assaults, beatings and assassinations. The object was to frighten, or eliminate, dissidents and disrupt their movements.

Psychological Warfare From the Outside: The FBI and police used a myriad of other “dirty tricks” to undermine progressive movements. They planted false media stories and published bogus leaflets and other publications in the name of targeted groups. They forged correspondence, sent anonymous letters, and made anonymous telephone calls. They spread misinformation about meetings and events, set up pseudo movement groups run by government agents, and manipulated or strong-armed parents, employers, landlords, school officials and others to cause trouble for activists.

Harassment Through the Legal System: The FBI and police abused the legal system to harass dissidents and make them appear to be criminals. Officers of the law gave perjured testimony and presented fabricated evidence as a pretext for false arrests and wrongful imprisonment. They discriminatorily enforced tax laws and other government regulations and used conspicuous surveillance, “investigative” interviews, and grand jury subpoenas in an effort to intimidate activists and silence their supporters.

The Tea Party is only a year old. There hasn’t been enough time to apply all of the techniques listed but a suspicious mind could easily see some have. This most recent step would set them up for more.

This isn’t necessarily an FBI operation of course. Our government is rife with secrecy. It really doesn’t matter which agency is doing the dirty work. Why it is being done does matter.

The Tea Party began as a grassroots movement to enact a fundamental change in the direction the Federal government is moving. It should be clear to anyone, regardless of their political leaning, that the government is directed by people with power and money. True grassroots movements of any sort, by their nature, are going to be anti-thetical to the goals of these people.

Why? Because the goal of the power elite is more power. It is simple to the point of being stupid. There are people in the world obessed with power and control. They don’t want to share it with anyone and they certainly don’t want to share it with everyone. A grassroots movement of any sort is going to drive them crazy; unless they control it and at that point it is no longer grassroots.

The Tea Party needs to root out the representatives of the power elite in their organization and the rest of us (liberals included) need to cheer them on.

We need grassroots movements. We need the Black Panthers and we need the Tea Partiers.

‘$27.5 Trillion Man’ Leo Wanta: In His Own Words

Posted on 17 March 2010 by Tony

By Anthony Fox - No Agenda News

In 2006, former US Treasury agent Leo Wanta, gave a series of interviews to Greg Szymanski. He claimed he was attempting to return trillions of dollars that lay in offshore accounts to the US Treasury.

This is his story, in his own words.

Part One.

GREG: Investigative Journal is travelling to Switzerland today and my guest [is] Leo Wanta. Tell us how this all started for you.

LEO: Okay in 1980…But going way back prior to that, I was being mentored by the Chairman of the Senate Foriegn Relations Commitee, Senator Alexander Wiley. I was trained in financials and government, intelligence and so on and so forth.
So in 1980, when President Regan won the election he retained the services of William French Smith a[n] attorney in California who was going to be his Attorney General. So then we all got together with Casey and Colby, William French Smith and President-elect Reagan.
GREG: And you’re sitting in talking with these guys correct?
LEO: Yeah, I was already known within a very tight group through Senator Wiley of my background and my management training and my engineering training.
Uncle Sam, arranged for me to get a 5 year apprenticeship in tool and die. When I’m in foriegn countries, I can kind of glance at it and know what they’re doing. I didn’t have to have blueprints. I can design my own blueprints, because I had an engineering degree as well.
So I was introduced to the future Attorney General Wiliam French Smith, and Bill Casey, which I’d already known through Bill Colby. We started having some meetings prior to him being elected on how he could control the east european environment.
So then, after a number of meetings and discussions, it was decided by the new Reagan administration that I should be the Inspector General of the Department of Defense because that would give me kind of a chance to review things. “Cap” Weinberger, who was now the Secretary of Defense said, “He’s the last S.O.B. I need walking around me. He’ll have my job in a couple of months.”
So Pen James, who was the Director of Whitehouse personnel, and Rick Shelby, [who] was now a Senator, decided we should be doing some other stuff. So Bill Casey decided I should work hand-in-hand with him.
So they were all talking about Krushchev and the old days, and him pounding the desk at the United Nations. [How] they’re going to bury us with our own shovels, and so on, and so forth.
President Reagan was a union guy in California. So they were looking at ways to get our country back through the apprenticeship programs and things of that nature; to rebuild infrastructure of the american people. The youth…Give them some skill trades training, education, and medical services; and things of that nature.
The biggest problem was the expenses [that] were always going out to fight the Cold War on the Soviet Union. They kept spending money for the military industrial giants and nothing for the average person. They agreed to my idea going back to Maynard Keynes, ‘the best way to control a country is to control the economy and the currency.’
President Reagan, he was not a politician; didn’t feel he should be a politician. He was a simple person and he wanted to undermine the USSR by destabilzing their military [and] their economy. And to get the people to understand that the rubles were only of value within the USSR.
President Reagan wanted to destabilize the USSR because they were a pain and he didn’t trust them at all. He could not depend on anybody over there and he still had a lot of wounds from the past. So we decided, with William French Smith and a few other guys, how we could figure out a mission to destabilze the USSR so they couldn’t buy anything. This is why you had the Star Wars [Strategic Defense Initiative] and everything. So President Reagan, started all kinds of development programs to spend a lot of money, but only on paper not in actual cash. That got the Soviets. Nobody understands a Soviets a Soviet; a Russian’s a Russian. They’re not the same.
After a number of meetings and discussions with people within the military and everything else, we agreed we would get a grant from the US Treasury for $150 billion. And we would start to destabilize their economy, their military, their GRU [Main Intelligence Directorate], and the like, by picking up their internal currency.
So we got together Mr. Kok [Kok Howe Kwong], who was part of the chinese intelligence group in Peking at that time. [We] were off to Vienna where we established New Republic/USA Financial Group, which was the security code of the Contra’s way back when. [Vienna] was where the core of all the Soviet rubles were because they were not allowed to leave the USSR. They could not buy any food any refrigerators, any medicine, they couldn’t buy anything. Anything you want to buy was all internal to the USSR and you couldn’t take out the currency.

Rule of the Undead

Posted on 02 March 2010 by Tony

By Anthony Fox Editor – No Agenda News

The popular fascination with vampires and zombies may have some root in the frustrations that many of the more competent and creative people are having in the twilight of our declining civilization.

To wield power justly one should have empathy, ability, and judgement; but, among the long list of tools the social sciences have failed to supply, none have been created to detect or instill these traits.

There are many positions available to people where these characteristics are vitally important (e.g. teachers, human resources, TSA employees) but it is all too common they are absent these virtues.

Positions of this kind are regularly occupied by people who are fundamentally lacking, and can be easily equated to zombies by the victims in their cold grasping hands.

Being more capable, those of a vampiric nature occupy positions that aren’t so easily attained. It does take ability and at least some judgement to have success in the fields of journalism, business, economics, law, politics, and medicine.

Vampirism also requires patience; it takes time to acquire real power.

The common thread is empathy, or a lack thereof. A feeling of detached superiority to the rest of humanity. Seeing people as animals.

It is said that power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. This is easily disproven in that there are many people in the above listed positions that wield power justly. Without question though, the corrupt are attracted to power and it may be more than just alliterative to say that the absolutely corrupt are attracted to absolute power.

The previously mentioned social sciences is the coven from which this infection is spawned.

The social sciences are not merely lacking in tools to identify and remedy. Their unquestioned entrenchment in government and education gives them the luxury of never being publicly called to task for their failures. Hiding behind an authoritative facade this field is a dark well breeding philosophic contagion.

Shining light on the arcana of the ‘social sciences’; political science, psychology, and the progenitor  of them all, psychaitry; would put a stake through the heart of many of society ills.

‘Question Authority’ was a meme in the ‘60‘s and ‘70‘s that we would do well to bring back.

We must question the authority of those who tell us we are nothing more than animals and that we should be treated as such. We’re all diminished and degraded by this poisonous line of thought; which gives the zombies and vampires among us the power to treat people as livestock to be herded to the slaughter.

You are not an animal.

Question anyone who says otherwise.
